Three captains on 1 ship? That's possible... but 3 captains on 3 ships is also possible! Thus, K&W Transmissies celebrated its 20th anniversary with its employees and partners on June 21!
From the old fishing port in Harderwijk, three old, characteristic fishing boats set sail for a trip across the Wolderwijd. Of course, a number of us took over the helm for a while and were able to help with the sailing.
During dinner at the Johannes restaurant, we looked at the past, present and future of our family business. In 1987, Hans Ketelaar started the company as a subsidiary of two German chain factories. The company has been under its own management since 2004 and has grown into three companies: K&W Transmissies, K&W Productie and Car Wash Transmissies. Hans now runs the company together with his wife Diana Hoolwerf and son Patrick Ketelaar. The fact that the human factor has always played a large and important role in the three companies is evident from the close-knit team of this family business. The company owes its success in part to its employees! Together we are a team and together we ensure that the organization functions well. And it turns out that of the 8 employees the company started with, 5 are still employed here. We can look back proudly on the past 20 years, but we also look ahead. The expansion of a large production hall next to the warehouse on Apolloweg is a good example of this. Car Wash Transmissies has now outgrown its premises and will soon move in there.
