K&W TRANSMISSIES, A LEADING COMPANY FOR 30 YEARS
Over the past 30 years, K&W Transmissies has secured a leading position as a supplier of all types of roller chains, conveyor chains, round link chains, drop forged chains and the corresponding sprockets. The company is located in a beautiful building adjacent to the A6 in the entrepreneurial city of Lelystad, which is close to the unique nature reserve the Oostvaardersplassen. In 1987 Hans Ketelaar started the company as a subsidiary of two German chain factories named Wippermann Germany and KettenWulf. In 2004, Hans Ketelaar took over Wippermann Netherlands and the name was changed to K&W Transmissies. K&W Transmissies produces its own custom sprockets in Lelystad with the use of high-tech computer-controlled CNC machines. K&W Transmissies is the only company in the Netherlands that exclusively produces sprockets. It is thus an absolute product specialist. The advantage for the customer is that in the case a replacement is needed this can be taken care of within minutes and the chain always fits the sprocket perfectly.
BIG ADVANTAGE OF THE COMPANY
One important benefit of K&W Transmission is that it has access to the large European chain factories in Germany, the UK and Italy. K&W Transmissies has the exclusive representation of high-quality European brands such as Wippermann, but also of HEKO, MCV, HKK, DINN and Witra.
The distinctiveness of K&W Transmissies is reflected in its active consultation with the customer based on an application-oriented approach with extensive knowledge and experience.
K&W Transmissies wants to enable its customers to run their machinery and convey goods in a reliable and cost-effective manner.
