Sprockets with bronze bushings
Bronze bushings can be applied in the bore of a sprocket or gear.
A sintered bronze bushing is used as the sprocket rotates about the axis and a low friction coefficient is desired. It also provides the solution if lubrication has limited applicability. Because sintered bronze is a porous material, the pores in the matrix can be filled with oil, which forms a lubricating film between the shaft and the tread.
