Sprockets - Zinc-plated
Zinc-plated sprockets are used in a humid environment and where corrosion is undesirable.
In principle, all sprockets can be zinc-plated.
Lantern gear toothing
Lantern gear toothing is necessary when the chain is used as a rack and pinion.
Lantern gear toothing on sprockets can be used when the spanned arc of the chain in the sprocket is smaller than 90°.
The Plate wheel
Plate wheels with slotted holes on the pitch circle
On most platewheels, slotted holes can be provided on the pitch circle, completely depending on the applicability to customer-specific wishes.
Sprockets simplex, duplex, triplex
Sprockets are available in simplex, duplex and triplex varieties
Sprockets are available in simplex, duplex and triplex varieties, which are used with the roller chains made to European standards in the sizes 03 up to 1 and with 72B-3 and roller chains made to American standard sizes from 04C-1 to 40A-3.
Split sprockets
Split sprockets and plate sprockets are applied in structures wherein the sprocket is locked into the structure.
If the wheel has to be replaced, this is a labor-intensive job. A split sprocket is often the solution. Depending on the application, K&W Transmissies can produce such split sprockets to customer-specific wishes.
Gears
K&W Transmissies has a comprehensive range of standard gears, but we also supply customer-specific gears from our own production facility.
Small series or large series are produced entirely according to customer-specific requirements. Various materials (steel, stainless steel and nylon) and also various types of teeth are possible.
