Forged fork link chains - scrapers

The scrapers for the drop forged chains can be produced in welded designs for construction for horizontal and oblique transport.

The scrapers are available in different versions: square or rectangular, as well as flat, curved in a “U-shape”, curved in a “C-shape”, or curved in a double “O-shape”. This “O-shaped” curved scraper is often used for very oblique transportation.

Forged central chain

The main chain consists of two basic elements, the inner and outer link. These chains are very easy to install because this can be done in a simple manner without using special tools. The chain may be fitted after the course of time in the other direction of rotation, thereby prolonging the service life of the chain.

The central chains are often used for vertical transport, for example in elevators.

Depending on the application, one can choose the standard version, such as, for example 16MnCr5, 20 MnCr5 or 42CrM04, or one made from material with a higher tensile strength or a higher corrosion resistance.If the chain must run at a certain angle, then one should choose oblique conveyance. For horizontal transport, the double-stranded chains are interconnected with scrapers. The connecting pins are available in different designs and materials. Sprockets for fork link chains are available in both one-piece and two-piece designs and are almost always custom produced.
